Troop 29 has approximately 50 active scouts, who meet every Monday night at 7pm in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Their activities during 2009 included a winter ski/camping trip, several other weekend camping trips, and summer camp at Ockanickon. Ten Scouts from Troop 29 troop earned their Eagle Scout award in 2009. The undoubted high point of the year was Troop 29’s winning the West Point scouting competition for the 7th time. From www.aa.org- Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
Available Sunday nights at 7:30pm in the modules.
