Come Experience God's Love

Community Outreach

Worship: Sundays at 8:45am and 11am

At God’s Love we are called to serve others in our local community and throughout the world.

These are the ongoing monthly collections we sponsor.

Bucks County Housing Grp

The Bucks County Housing Group (BCHG) began as a grassroots community effort in 1980 to serve low income individuals and families in crisis in Bucks County. They operate three shelters (Doylestown, Penndel, and Morrisville) to provide temporary housing and social services. There are food pantries in both Penndel and Doylestown shelters. They are open to the community and provide food to about 400 families a month. Coordinated by Gloria Nelson, God’s Love has given generously through our monthly collections.

Through the ministry last year, God’s Love Church delivered hats, mittens and scarves from the PreSchool Christmas collection, delivered 83 pounds of food collected by Girl Scout troop 23 and 320 pounds of food from our congregation. In addition, paper products, toiletry items, and new kitchen items were provided to BCHG.

  Emergency Relief Association

Our congregation collects supplies of food, personal items, and school supplies for the Emergency Relief Association of Bucks County (ERA), a non-profit organization founded in 1969 and dedicated to serving neighbors in need throughout Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The items we collect are distributed as part of the ERA’s food pantry.

Suggested donations include peanut butter, jelly, soup, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables, tuna, macaroni & cheese, pancake mix, cereal and personal care items. Please put your donated items in the collection box in the Commons.

  Bucks County Homeless Shelter

Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter is a temporary residence for individuals and families who have lost safe and stable housing.

The shelter operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It serves as a temporary home to approximately 70 people at any given time. Typically, about one third of the residents are children. Contributions from generous donors and the incredible effort put forth by hundreds of hard-working volunteers each year are the driving force behind the shelter.
