Hear the Music!

One of the things we’re known for at God’s Love is our music! Our traditional worship services feature adult choir, three children’s choirs, and three chimes and bell choirs. Rejoice!, the musical worship team that leads the contemporary service music, plays a wide range of music from ballads to jazz to rock and roll. The goal of all of our musical groups is simple – to enhance the congregation’s worship experience and to spread God’s Word.

Chantry Choir

The Chantry Choir leads the traditional worship service in song, under the direction of Risë Kagan. Their beautiful melodies and harmonies enrich the liturgical themes, as they glorify God through song each week.

Bells and Chimes

The melodious tones of our Adult Handbell Choir will bring you back to another time. The handbell choir is one more of the unique musical offerings you will find at the Lutheran Church of God’s Love.

Rejoice!

Rejoice! is the contemporary worship band under the direction of Walt Kull. The band includes more than a dozen instrumentalists and vocalists who perform an eclectic mix of contemporary Christian, gospel, jazz, blues, rock, R & B and world music. Some band members also compose and arrange original compositions for Sunday’s contemporary worship service.

Founded in 1996 as a music ministry, Rejoice! performs and offers Christian Witness at numerous church and community based events. Most recently, the church performed at a benefit for the American Stroke Association sponsored by St. Mary Medical Center. The band has also performed at venues benefitting victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti earthquake.

Inspired by our church mission statement, “United by the Holy Spirit, we will make Christ known,” the band continues to look for opportunities to spread the Good News.
